Ally Ip

Immigrating to the US at age twelve propelled Ally into an incredible journey of becoming the top student in a public Boston high school and gaining entry into MIT. At MIT, she majored in Chemical Engineering and minored in Biology. After graduation, she joined the US Army, where Ally achieved the rank of Captain and was certified as one of only eight Top Gunners of the Patriot Missile system. After four active-duty tours, Ally retired with a US presidential advisor’s letter of recommendation and attended Harvard Business School; her business school application essay was published in the book, “65 Successful HARVARD Business School Application Essays.” At Harvard, Ally investigated the inner workings of the college admissions process, developing her findings into a business plan. Since graduating with an MBA, Ally has worked full-time in education and has over sixteen years of experience in admissions consulting. She is also a professional member of IECA.
